Who We Are

The Larimer Center for Mental Health is the primary provider of compassionate, affordable, comprehensive mental health care in Larimer County. Each year, we help approximately 3,500 of your loved ones, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Our services are available to anyone in Larimer County, regardless of ability to pay. Over 85% of our consumers live in families with incomes under $20,000.

We are committed to our mission to deliver high quality mental health treatment, education and support services to promote improved quality of life for persons with emotional and stress-related disorders and mental illness. Our consumers play an integral part in planning their treatment and goals. We team with health providers, social service agencies, school districts and other community organizations to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

In addition to providing high quality treatment, our goal is to educate people that mental illness is common and highly treatable. One in five families have a member with a mental illness. With effective treatment, most people soon resume normal, healthy, productive lives.
